To Have and To Have Not by Jim Brook

Village is proud to present our next exhibition 'To Have and To Have Not' by Jim Brook.

To have and To Have Not is a collection of works made over the past few years in response to death, toxic masculinity and the ideal of a male role model. Working from lived experience and using artistic labour and non artistic labour, Brook explores the relationships between the ready made, still life, sculpture and the photograph to produce works within his home in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

Join us from 6pm on Friday 8th April for the opening. We will have a number of Brook's titles available during the exhibition along with a limited run artist edition.
