Jeremy Nicholl – Chernobyl
On 26 April 1986 an unauthorised test led to two explosions in the Chernobyl nuclear plant, blowing a hole in the roof of Reactor Number 4. In October 1995 Jeremy was the first Western photographer to gain access to the sarcophagus enclosing the remains of Reactor Number 4.

Homer first visited Belfast in 1970 to cover the 12th of July Orange Day celebrations. Later, during the late 1970s and early 80s, Homer returned to Northern Ireland to cover The Troubles on numerous occasions.

Mike Goldwater – East Timor 1999
In late August 1999, almost 24 years after Indonesia’s invasion, the people of East Timor went to the polls. The result was decisive; four out of five that voted chose Independence. No one, including the United Nations, foresaw the scale of the violence that would follow.
