For the Spring/Summer issue of Dazed, Solange takes us to hers: to the precious pockets of Jamaica that have proven to be a spiritual home for the singer, and have shaped the sound of her highly-anticipated follow-up to A Seat at The Table.

Captured by by Jackie Nickerson and styled by Katie Shillingford, the era-defining singer reveals her love-affair with the island in a heartfelt essay. It’s a spirit that runs throughout the issue, which spotlights creatives who are shaped by environments both actual and imagined: from 1990s Paris, to present-day South Africa, to a version of Japan set 20 years in the future...
