The location and collective nature of these messages speaks to the imagination, humour and connection we all hope to find in life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe station which sits in the outskirts of the town is a destination which facilitates travel, the names left could be of those leaving home and loved ones behind, the fact so many have left names only helps to show the importance of public transport and the ability to move from place to place. In my mind the station acts as a portal to the outside world and whether people were travelling to the next town over or to a connecting flight to take them half way across the world, something compelled them to devout time and energy marking themselves out on the station walls.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA curtain unity can be drawn from this fact, and why I felt so strongly this book should exist. Without external documentation the walls simply become vandalism at best or unnoticed by visitors, something I feel is far worse.
