In issue 111, the first of this year’s four special 15th anniversary editions, Clash magazine presents four unfaltering cover stars whose intuitive and dynamic achievements are attributed directly to their commitment to the cause.

The first of this issue’s persistent heavyweights is Lil Pump, the audacious 18-year-old rap phenomenon whose rags-to-riches story is one of unquestionable dedication.

The second of this issue’s insistent cover stars is feel-good soul maestro Lizzo, whose protracted ascension bore two solo albums before this year’s breakout hit, ‘Juice’, validated her efforts and confirmed her as an exceptional and utterly defiant soul sensation - just what the world has been waiting for.

The third of this issue’s diligent cover stars is Octavian, the interplanetary rap strategist who’s firmly followed a uniquely instinctive plot since day dot. “If I want something to happen it will,” he attests, “because I know how to think of something and believe in it 100%.”

This issue’s final cover star is Dolly Parton, who set her eyes on betterment from a very early age. The outlook from the isolated and rural farm on which she grew up in East Tennessee was bleak; career options were limited for the poor - more so for women. Her mother had married at 15, but Dolly’s fate was being shaped by an inherent inquisitiveness much too big for her homestead.

Also featured in this issue is Ezra Collective, Loyle Carner, Little Simz, Sigrid, Col3trane, Joji, David Crosby, Soak, and much more.
