Kind is Cool

From Steph Francis-Shanahan and Clem MacLeod comes ‘Kind is Cool’, a Worms publication of words in the wild. Accompanied by an essay by Pierce Eldridge, this A5 collaborative photo book is a meditation on the messages that we see in our daily lives, and encouragement to look for signs of serendipity. Be patient, don’t push.

Steph is an artist, photographer & filmmaker from London. Her work looks at the effects of collective emotion and the cathartic nature of collage as an exploration of PTSD and neurodiverse experiences.

Clem is the founder and editor-in-chief of Worms.

Pierce’s (they/them) practice as a curator, dramaturg and writer is rooted in an entangled existence with ecological systems and the knowledge(s) they hold, produce and share. Their interests evoke a sense of reciprocity, kinship, non-dualism and sovereignty – centering ethics of listening, caring, queering and decentralising – (re)imagining new eco-systems into their practices.
