The new Numéro art celebrates on the cover a duo and 3 artists who will be the event during the week of Paris + by Art Basel : the young Frenchman Alexandre Diop and his mentor, the star of contemporary art Kehinde Wiley , exhibited by Reiffers Art Initiatives at Acacias Art Center; Cyprien Gaillard , who is making his grand return to Paris with a double exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo and at Lafayette Anticipations; prominent Bahamian-born artist Tavares Strachan , who displays his impressive works at the Perrotin Gallery and the Marian Goodman Gallery; finally, the magazine pays tribute to the legendary painter Joan Mitchell, celebrated with an exceptional retrospective and a dialogue with Claude Monet at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
