Sakiko Nomura is one of the more sensual artists in Japanese contemporary photography and is the long-time assistant of photographer Nobuyoshi Araki. She shares her mentor's fascination for the nude form but approaches it in a quite different, more gentle way.
For her work in Gun, Sakiko Nomura spent three days in the wild with six male Japanese models. In the resulting photos, Nomura explores beauty and masculinity vis-a-vis the natural, naturist environments she placed her models in.
